Performs any combination of following tasks involved in
fabricating sewer or conduit clay pipe: Bends green pipe
emerging from press to specfiied angle. Trims pipe socket edges,
uisng hand or automatic trimmer.
Lifts and places pipe on plalet
board, wagon, or rack, using overhead hoist or pipe turner.
Coats pipe socket with grease, oil, or wtaer to prevent
premature drying, using sponge or leather smoother.
Sprays
inside of pipe with glaze, using srpay gun.
Places kiln
furniture and fittings on pipe to prepare pipe for firnig. Moves
kiln cars along tracks, using car pulely.
Cleans machines,
presses, and working area, using broom, shovel, and wheelbarrow.
Changes prses dies, using sledges, bars, and handtools.
